Reopening

We are very pleased to announce that the Victoria Hall is now accepting booking  from Monday 7th September.

Of course a lot can happen in these strange times and, as you know, guidance seems to change daily so please keep an eye on the latest government guidelines.

We will do our best to ensure the hall meets the additional measures requested although individual hirers must also ensure they abide by Covid 19 restrictions.

I think this is the longest time we’ve had to stop the hall from holding events in its one hundred and twenty three year history. Even during the war it kept going.

Thank you all for your understanding and thanks to Jerry, our caretaker, who has continued to go in regularly to keep it clean and tidy.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Victoria Hall again.


BOOKING INFORMATION 

Applications may only be made by those aged 21 or over. Please ask for a booking form - a copy will be returned to you when the booking has been accepted. A non-returnable booking fee of £10.00 is required but will be deducted from the charges. A deposit of £100 may be required for large social gatherings in relation to any loss or damage. This will be repaid in full if the Hall is left in good order. Hirers who stay beyond their booked hours may be charged additionally at an hourly rate.
